4. Testing the connection with RaidenTunes <previous | next >

RaidenTunes is a server side program, that means You need a client program to access it, the good news is that You don't need to install extra client in order to use it, just use the IE6 or IE7 and Windows Media Player that everyone already has and it will work with RaidenTunes.

To connect to Your RaidenTunes, first of all You need to know where to connect to, how to know Your RaidenTunes URL?

Connecting to RaidenTunes in Your home network

When You open the RaidenTunes, You will see an information Your RaidenTunes URL(Intranet, local area network), remember this URL and it will be the one You have to use when You are at home.

Connecting to RaidenTunes from out side of Your home network (usually Internet)

When You open the RaidenTunes, You will see an informationYour RaidenTunes URL(Internet, wide area network), remember this URL and it will be the one You have to use when You are out side of Your home network, remember to open Your server port (usually 80) on Your router and firewall so people can connect to Your server.
